Curiosity killed the cat… You never believed that, right?
You know you’re made for building stories when a boat’s painting immediately transforms into a pirates’ tale in your mind. You also know you’re a writer when a chanting fall could look dull, but a blank piece of paper be a source of inspiration. My story with worlds began very early in my life, when I made up stories with my plushies and dolls, each time a different one. That with words began a bit later, when I was old enough to hold a pen and build sentences; I didn’t give it all my heart until I was twelve, though. As for Fantasy, well… I feel like it has always been a part of me: that feeling of wonder, this love for mythical creatures, this longing for magic; and books only strengthened that feeling.
To me, Fantasy isn’t Fantasy without meanings: a good Fantasy book is a book of metaphors, a book where the writer gives birth to their ideas through their characters, a book that aims to teach you what they learned from life, and what they hold dear. The metaphors tend to stick to your mind, and remain deeply rooted in you, sometimes even more than a regular fiction book. This is what my writing is about: adventures, emotions, travels, and a pinch of magical Fantasy to defeat normality.
Tss tss, what am I doing? You’re here because you followed the light, right? Well, if you scroll down, you’ll discover the parallel world it threw you in, made up of a bunch of words sewn together, usually the outcome of a song, a catchy bird flying near my window, or a writing prompt. You’ll even find short stories! What are you waiting for? Oh yeah, right, my bad…
